| About Registration Fee Structure |
|
Our conference is organized by and chiefly attended by scientists
and leaders from pharmaceutical companies or from groups directly involved
with the development of therapeutics. Our mission is to serve the applied
industrial scientists striving to create new therapeutics and those who
regulate that activity. As a consequence of that mission we have structured
our registration pricing to: (1) Keep registration costs low, (2) Remain
inclusive as opposed to application-based or invite-only, and (3) Provide
catering & relevant location.
We welcome all in the healthcare field including CROs and technology
vendors who we know have valuable insights to share. However, similar to
other comparable societies, we offer a lower registration rate to those
involved directly in the Community of Practice we were organized to serve.
This lower registration rate is well below the cost for catering and room
rental per person -- a difference in cost which is covered by generous
contributions from our sponsors. Rather than asking our sponsors to pay
for the costs of other (possibly competing) CROs and technology providers,
we ask these groups to pay a higher rate in order to cover their own costs.
We hope that this explanation clarifies our
pricing policy. Our ultimate goal with this policy is to keep the
quality of the meeting high and the cost low. Please contact us
